Hawk Board Election – Results

The result of the tri-ennial election for the 6 specialist members of the Board is as follows.
By the closing date for nominations, 30th June, only 4 applicants had put their names forward. 
As a result these 4 persons are deemed elected and no vote is necessary. 
They are:  Jim Chick, Nick Fox, Derek Stotton and Karl Leadley.

The new Board will have it`s first meeting in October, 2007 and will run for 3 years.  They should all be congratulated and thanked for being prepared to give up their time to ensure that falconry continues in the UK and that all bird of prey keepers are not burdened by unnecessary legislation.
